Indian doctor considering rural GP role - what's the reality regarding racism?

I'm an Indian doctor currently exploring the possibility of relocating to Australia. I understand that the pathway to getting my first job there is quite extensive and could easily take over two years. My ultimate goal is to become a GP, and I'm specifically looking at opportunities in rural areas, especially given the significant and projected ongoing demand for doctors in those regions. I've been doing a lot of research, but one concern keeps coming up: how prevalent is racism in rural Australia, particularly for doctors from diverse backgrounds, compared to larger cities? I'm trying to gauge if the potential risk of encountering racism in regional areas is a significant enough factor that it should make me reconsider my overall dream of moving and working in Australia. Any insights or shared experiences would be incredibly valuable.
